These are the only mesh feeders we have tried but they work great and I have no desire to try another brand. If they wear out I'll get more of these. It would be nice to be able to select the color but we ended up with colors we like. They work very well for all foods except bananas, which are very difficult to clean out of the mesh (I know other people with other brands of mesh feeders who have the same problem). They are great for melon and very ripe pears.

great for frozen peas, fruit, or anything hard and yummy. our son (and how our niece) loved them. easy to fill, easy to hold, easy to replace the dirty nets.

My 9-month old son loves The Nibbler!!! It only took once for him to learn that food is coming his way as soon as he sees us pull it out of the drawer. Strawberries worked great in there and he loved them, and so did we, despite the big mess it made.

My daughter got this from my mother and at first she wanted nothing to do with it, screamed every time it got near her mouth so my husband & I figured she didn't like it and put it away. Fast forward about 2 weeks and we were desperate one night while fixing dinner so I pulled it out and tried it again, she was more accepting of it this time and once she figured out food came out of it she loved it. The best things I've found with it (so far) is strawberries w/ seeds cut off & bread/ bagel pieces to suck/ chew on without fear of choking. One cavaet: DO NOT use with bananas it is a pain to clean off, I eventually had to watch the mesh twice then soak it in very diluted bleach and finally wash it again to get it clean.
I like the construction of the Nuby better then either Munchkin or Sassy feeders. In my opinion the mesh is finer but yet easier to ger something out of, it's easier to clean & the twist/ turn method is better then then the 'snap' close of the others. It's great for them on chew & suck on to get new flavors but I wouldn't use it for true teething purposes, the mesh can irritate already sore gums (which may have been our problem at first) and it can wear down over time so you'll have to replace it quicker.

I take into consideration what this is meant for...children to eat safely in a messy manner. My son loves this! At first (4months) he had a hard time getting his arm to his mouth but now he's a pro.One thing I noticed that helped my son to eat was to make sure the mesh bag was stuffed full. I have no problem with with any fruits or veggies I put in there. I immediately wash it after use with scalding hat water. He loves banana, mango, sweet potato, grapes and etc. My only dislike is how it assembles and disassemble. To get apart its a twistish motion and to get back together its a forced snap? That is how I manage.
